The health benefits of tea are widespread and well-publicized; from fighting against cancer, lowering cholesterol, fighting allergies, and lowering blood pressure.

  • It also has well-documented effects in helping to combat the aging process; from helping to delay lines and wrinkles to helping reduce inflammation in arthritis patients and even improving memory to help present to the patients.
  • Tea is a natural product and is virtually calorie-free.
  • Tea contains fluoride, which helps prevent cavities and strengthens tooth enamel.
  • Certain oxidizing elements called polyphenols, present in tea, are far superior to any anti-oxidant in fruits and vegetables. They help to control the damage to cells, thus offering protection against cancer.
  • A study at the Antioxidant Research Center, London, published in 1999 revealed that the anti-oxidant in 2 cups of tea is equal to 7 glasses of orange juice or 20 glasses of apple juice.
  • Tea is an ideal stimulant.
